I hear from the local listservs that the owner of 1704 W Markham Street

(the Tate house) is giving this house away - if the recipient will move it from its current location. The owner will provide $5000 towards moving costs. The home, located across the street from Duke University's East Campus, has been slated for demolition, so this is a chance to save a little piece of Durham.
